Please join us February 4-6, 2016 in Muscat, Oman! We are teaming with NESA's Winter Training Institute in providing a pre-conference, one day Destiny training on Thursday, February 4 with the Destiny Doctor, Larry Gilbert. Friday and Saturday will feature teacher librarian consultant, Shannon McClintock Miller.

The Thursday workshop will be held at the conference hotel, the Park Inn Radisson Muscat, and the two day NESA Institute will be at the American International School of Muscat (TAISM).

The Destiny workshop will provide Destiny® Library Manager™ training for all levels of experience as well as presentations and group discussions. You will also learn more about Follett's digital solutions, hear what's going on in the libraries throughout the region and get a unique opportunity to collaborate and engage with your peers. We will also be highlighting our new business relationship with the International Baccalaureate Program and show how you can choose IB resources through Titlewave. This is a great way to have all of your questions answered in eprson by our very knowledgeable team of experts.

Bu sunumda 17 Mart 2015 de Follett Workshop da Larry Gilbert tarafından verilen sunumdan e-kitaplar ile ilgili bölümden notlar ( Türkçe ) bulabilirsiniz. You can find screen shots from Follett Workshop about e-books. There are some notes in Turkish in the slides.

  • Gordon Powell, a former colleague from British Columbia, shared this page of EBSCO journals relevant to teacher-librarians. Not only will I make use of the page, I'm going to make something similar for the various departments in my school and send them the link. Anything to increase collegiality and database use!
